Title: Temporary Seasonal Golf Course Groundskeeper Dept: South Shore Country Club Location: 274 South Street, Hingham, MA Status: Temporary Seasonal, Full-time & Part-time positions Salary: Seasonal Salary: $10.00 per hour
Duties: The Town of Hingham is seeking employees immediately and for the Fall season to perform routine labor involved in golf course maintenance . This position is a seasonal position based on the operating season of the golf course. The position requires semi-skilled grounds work and the safe and efficient operation of light equipment, [such as lawn mowers and trimmers] and large equipment, [such as gang mowers and tractors.]
Requirements: This position requires:
- Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Ability to operate trucks and other turf equipment.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- A valid driver’s license.
