11/02/2021 COVID Update
- Statewide, the number of new COVID-19 cases has been trending downward since mid-September. They have dropped from about 1,900 new cases on average per 7-day period as of 9/13 to about 960 new cases on average per 7-day period as of 10/31.
- In Hingham, new COVID-19 cases continue to hover around 30-40 new cases per 14-day period for the last several weeks.
- The vaccination rate for Hingham remains at 73%. If you look at only vaccine-eligible individuals in Hingham (people age 12+), the percent of fully vaccinated eligible residents is up to 87%.
- Our local policy requiring masks indoors in municipal facilities remains in place.
