[ARCHIVED] Town of Hingham to Host Regional COVID-19 Testing Site

Testing Clinic Map

HINGHAM -- The Town of Hingham is pleased to announce a temporary COVID-19 testing site will soon be established in town.

The site, which is scheduled to open on Wednesday, Jan. 12, is sponsored by the Hingham, Cohasset, Hull, and Scituate Health Departments. It will be located at 335 Lincoln St. (Route 3A) in Hingham.

Funding for the testing site was paid for through a grant from the Massachusetts Public Health Excellence Grant Program, received by the Towns of Hingham, Cohasset, Hull and Scituate.

Appointments will be required in order to receive a test. A link to register for a test will be released soon. No tests will be administered without an appointment.

This will be a drive-up site, and those receiving a test will not need to exit their vehicle. Vehicles will be directed to enter the site through the back of the lot, near Fresh Market, and not via Route 3A.

The site will be open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents and employees of the four sponsor towns will have priority appointment access, between the hours of 7 and 11 a.m., although they can still sign up for appointments outside of the priority timeframe if needed.

The site will offer multiple forms of COVID-19 tests, and those receiving a test will not receive their results on site. Instead, they will be contacted by health officials with results after leaving the testing site.

The cost of a PCR test will be billed directly to the person’s insurance provider, while Antigen Rapid Tests will cost $149, and Antibody Tests will cost $75. For information on the different types of COVID-19 tests, click here
