Parade Button 2023 - Winner Announced

Parade Button showing people watching fireworks

We were excited to see more than 100 button designs submitted this year.  The 2023 design winner is William Donovan from Plymouth River School.  William captured this year’s theme by depicting four friends overlooking Hingham Harbor watching fireworks.  William’s design is crisp and clear, the theme is clearly presented, and his choice of colors are eye catching.

There were many wonderful designs submitted and the Parade Committee selected two additional designers for honorable mention:

Lila G. of South School
Quinn Litwinowich of Foster School

Button donations help fund the Hingham 4th of July, we are very fortunate to have the continued interest and enthusiasm from our Hingham elementary school Art Teachers.

Buttons will be available at the upcoming April 24th Town Meeting and the May 20th Springham event, and at various businesses around town.
