[ARCHIVED] Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11th

The Hingham Veterans’ Council is pleased to announce the itinerary for this year’s Annual Veteran’s Day Observance, formerly called Armistice Day.

Veterans’ Day 2016 will begin with the CPL Lawrence St. Laurent Breakfast at the Hingham Senior Center from 08:30-10:00 a.m. This event is open to ALL Military, Veterans, and their families; sponsored by the Hingham American Legion and the V.F.W. Posts.

The main event will be the held in the Sanborn Auditorium at Town Hall, beginning promptly at 11 a.m. There will be reserved seating for ALL Military and Veterans. The event will be moderated by Michael Puzo, with music performed by Hingham High School Band. The principal speaker will be the Former Secretary of Veterans Services, for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Coleman Nee.

Following the indoor tribute to our Town’s Veterans there will be a wreath laying ceremony and Pledge of Allegiance at the Veterans’ Memorial outside Town Hall.

Please make every effort to attend and show your support for our Nation’s Veterans.
