Help us to welcome home Hingham resident, United States Army Specialist James Ippolito, on Thursday evening November 2, 2017, from an extended tour of duty in the Korean Peninsula.

His flight is scheduled to arrive at Logan Airport at 7:30pm. Travel time from Logan to Hingham may vary with traffic. Hingham Police will be posting real time updates on the HPD Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Below is the route he will take with his WELCOME HOME ESCORT from the Hingham Police, Fire, and Veterans Departments:

  • From Route 3 South, exit 15, Derby Street
  • Left on Cushing Street
  • Left on Main Street (Route 228)
  • Left on Central Street (passing Hingham Town Hall)
  • Left on North Street where he will turn towards his family home.

As our community (and beyond) so proudly has done in the past, please line the streets, with a sign of gratitude and your flags flying, to help welcome home Army Specialist Ippolito and thank him for his service to our Country.

Regards,

Keith Jermyn, VSO
