3. Motion to approve the Minutes from the October 12, 2022, Regular Board Meeting.
4. Motion to approve the Accounts Payable and the Payments.
1. Motion to Approve and Authorize the Executive Director to execute a contract to John Murphy Jr. Electrical Construction & Engineering, Inc. for the Fire Alarm System Upgrade at the Congregate Building, 689-1. A work Order was prepared by RCAT and John Murphy Jr. Electrical Construction & Engineering, Inc. was assigned the project under the DHCD “House Doctor” program. The design contract is in the amount of $14,600.00. The funding source for this project is DHCD ARPA Funds.
2. Motion to Approve and Authorize the Executive Director to execute an Amendment to the Contract for Financial Assistance (CFA) #4001 for the ARPA Formula Funding between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development and the Hingham Housing Authority. The Amendment will result in an award of $160,685.00 in ARPA Formula Funding to Contract #4001.
3. Motion to Approve and Authorize the Executive Director to execute an Amendment to the Contract for Financial Assistance (CFA) #4050 for the ARPA Targeted Award Funding between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development and the Hingham Housing Authority. The Amendment will result in an award of $46,434.00 in ARPA Targeted Award Funding to Contract #4050.
4. Motion to Award and Authorize the Executive Director to enter into a contract with Lowes to provide forty-two (42) vinyl shutters for Thaxter St. 667-2 & 705-1. Three quotes were received, and Lowes was the low bidder with a bid of $2,343.79. (See attached Bid Tabulation).
5. Motion to Award and Authorize the Executive Director to enter into a contract with John West Jr. Tree Service for the removal and disposal of marked damaged trees at Thaxter St., 132 Scotland Road and 100 Beal St. Three quotes were received, and John West Jr. Tree Service was the low bidder with a bid of $9,500.00. (See attached Bid Tabulation).
6. “Motion to approve the Hingham Housing Authority’s application in response to the Department of Housing and Community Development (“DHCD”) Resident Service Coordinators (“RSC”) Notice of Funding Availability (“NOFA”). This application is to request funding for fiscal years FY2023 through FY2027 and must be submitted to obtain continued funding for salary and flexible spending funds for the program.”
