[ARCHIVED] Summit Ave - Hull - Apology for communication of shut down

“The Weir River Water System would like to apologize to the residents on Summit Ave between Atlantic Ave and Reefs Point and the residents of Reefs Point.  Due to unforeseen events, the entirety of the Summit Ave neighborhood was inadvertently shut down today and not in accordance with the schedule that was sent last week that indicated that your section would be shut down tomorrow (Wednesday, February 8).  We should have sent out an updated notice when we encountered the issue we had.

Unfortunately, it will be necessary to shut down all of Summit Ave again tomorrow, including Reefs Point and Drift Way, as we work to keep the tie in of the new water main on schedule. We are working to resolve the issue from today, but again will need to shut down again tomorrow.  We can’t apologize enough to the residents and customers on Summit Ave and are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused. We are grateful for your continued patience and support as we improve the Weir River Water System.”
