Violations of this ban will result in fines as outlined in the WRWS rules and Regulations.

2nd Violation – $100 Fine

*Subsequent Violations*

Additional fines, termination of service, plus the costs of termination and restoration.

Effective immediately the Weir River Water System will be instituting a Level 2 Mandatory Total Water Ban. This decision is based on an evaluation of current drought conditions and the need to conserve and maintain water supply and service throughout Hingham, Hull, and North Cohasset. The WRWS needs to continue supplying clean potable water and fire protection to our customers. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has declared the Southeast Region in Level 3 – Critical Drought Status.
