The Weir River Water System would like to notify residents that we will begin hydrant flushing on South Pleasant Street and Main Street in Hingham Sunday evening March 26, 2023. Flushing will take place during the overnight hours between 9pm and 5am Sunday evening through Friday morning each week. We anticipate flushing to continue for 5 weeks and conclude at the end of April. We will continue to update residents as to which areas we will be in each week via email, weirriverwater.com, and signs posted in the area of flushing. All residents should be aware that flushing may cause discolored water or fluctuations in pressure whether or not we are in your area. Please remember to check washers prior to doing laundry.
