Quint 1

Quint 1

Quint 1 is a 2019 Pierce Platform rear mount 100-foot aerial.  It has a 2000 gallon per minute pump and carries 500 gallons of water.  The truck carries 800 feet of large diameter hose that connects to fire hydrants.  It also has a 6000-watt onboard diesel generator—a 600-horsepower diesel engine powers the vehicle.  Known as “Niagara,” it is housed at Fire Department Headquarters.

(SPARE) Engine 1 is a 2006 E-One Typhoon. It has a 1,250 gallon per minute pump and carries 500 gallons of water and 30 gallons of foam. The vehicle carries over 2,000 feet of hose. It has a Hurst Jaws of Life Rescue Tool, a semi-automatic defibrillator, and other medical equipment.

2016 Pierce Impel Pumper, 1250 GPM pump, 750-gallon water tank, over 2000 feet of hose.  Hurst electric/hydraulic Jaws of Life, High Rish Hose Pack for high rise firefighting. The “Torrent Engine Company” is housed at North Station, 230 North Street.

The (Lt. Bunky Kehoe) 2010 Avon RIB, a Former USCG boat, was acquired through a government surplus equipment program and powered by twin 60 hp four cycle outboard engines, 250 GPM fire pump with deck gun, radar and navigation plotter, built by Fire department personnel to fit the needs of the Department.

C-3

C-3 is the on-duty Shift Commanders vehicle.  It is currently a 2012 Chevy Tahoe.  The Shift Commander is responsible for fire department operations for their shift.   They carry various equipment to track and manage personnel operating at emergency incidents.
